My husband and I are so grateful for Tyron! He is 100% the reason we are moving into our dream home in SF. He was fabulous to work with, incredibly responsive, a self-described "bulldog" in the industry who loves to win deals and does everything it takes to get the job done. When our offer was accepted the sellers told us to "thank you agent"! He really went above and beyond for us and I know he does so for all of his clients. He is also a great guy, super personable, and a pleasure to be around. We highly recommend him!! Thank you so much Tyron!

Tyron was a lifesaver, guiding us through the very murky waters of the SF real estate market with a lot more grace, openness, and humor than I ever would have managed in his place. My partner and I were both new to the home buying experience, and offered some unique challenges regarding input and out-of-state financing assistance. Tyron was extremely patient with us, very clearly explained anything we didn't know, pointed us toward useful resources to help us further our own knowledge, and was a wise counselor after every offer rejection that came our way. Throughout the process, I always felt that Tyron was genuinely making an effort to guide us toward a home we would love. He quickly picked up on our likes and dislikes, and it's definitely through his attention to those details that we found and bought our lovely, slightly quirky new home! We can't thank Tyron enough for his guidance, and recommend him highly to anyone who is looking for a real estate agent in SF!

Tyron's enthusiasm and energy are infectious, making the entire process enjoyable instead of daunting for the first time buyer. Combined with his knowledge, strong network and the support of Zephyr Real Estate, I felt part of a winning team that found my dream first home!

Clark Kent meets Superman! Tyron Hooper helped us get our first home. During our first meeting, Tyron spent close to 3 hours with us listening patiently to our needs and politely offered his suggestions to make our home search optimal. When we liked a listing that came on the MLS, Tyron worked with the seller's agent and arranged for us to see the property before the first open house. When we told Tyron that was the place we wanted to call home, the red cape came out. Tyron has an extensive network of inspectors, mortgage brokers, insurance agents up his sleeve that he started working with to help us close as soon as possible. With Tyron's help, we got the property we loved in SF's red hot, hyper competitive real estate market. Throughout the process, Tyron responded to our questions patiently and politely. He responded to our emails and texts within minutes of us sending it to him, regardless of the time of day. We will definitely work with Tyron again when the time comes for us to enter the market again.

Now, almost a year later, I'm realizing not only how lucky we were when Tyron helped us initially, but how lucky we still are to have him on our side. He's your agent for life - seriously. In this past year, Tyron has continued to be a tremendous resource for us as new homeowners. He helped us sort out our home warranty so we could get our furnace replaced, put us in touch with reliable and cost effective contractors for our kitchen remodel, answers our questions about resale value/return on investment as we upgrade different parts of our house, and has helped us prep for not one but two rounds of refinancing. He lets us know when rates drop, and arms us with everything we need to take advantage of the refi opportunity. Tomorrow, when we meet with the appraiser for our second refi, we'll be armed with a packet of sales comps and relevant info that will absolutely help our case with the appraiser. We love our house too much to think about it right now, but if it ever comes time to put this house on the market, Tyron will be our listing agent without a doubt... and we hope he'll help us find our new digs too... :)

Tyron Hooper gets my highest recommendation. Best of the best.

Tyron Hooper with Zephyr worked with us to find our beautiful home in Nob Hill. As first time home buyers, we had a lot of questions and required a lot of attention. It took us 2 years to find the right place, and he available whenever we needed him. He worked very hard to find us the right place. I would recommend him as a broker to anyone looking for a deal in SF! He has broad knowledge of the market, and he's extremely attentive to his clients.

Tyron did not have an easy task. There were effectively four people to please when it came to finding a property in San Francisco. While everyone shared the same general must-haves, there was a lot of quibbling over the details. The search was lengthy and very competitive - we probably made a half dozen offers before getting one accepted. Providing essential help every step of the way was Tyron. He met every challenge with aplomb. I cannot imagine a better home-buying experience, particularly in San Francisco. He diligently worked with us for months - often responding within minutes, even late at night - to help find the perfect home. Even though he had an intimidating amount of knowledge and experience he always took great pains to explain things in laymen's terms. Tyron is friendly, courteous, thorough, and the consummate professional. I'll be recommending him to every person I can from now on. I could not ask for a better real estate agent.

Tyron is a rock star!!
As we sit here in our super fantastic lovely home which we now own, my boyfriend Michael and I realize that this is a phrase that we kept repeating throughout this crazy process of being deer-in-the-headlights-first-time home buyers. The thing that startled us the most is that we were originally just casually looking. We had no time pressures to speak of, but just wanted to poke around and see what was out there. We originally started with another agent that a friend had recommended to us, but as helpful as our first agent was in initially explaining the home buying process to us, he didn't seem to share our motivation or understand what we were looking for. This is probably because we gave the impression that we were pretty casual about buying (and in retrospect, I can't say I blame him for picking up on our lackadaisical attitude.) His weekly listings that he emailed to us never seemed targeted to what we told him we were interested in, which didn't help move the process forward. One day, we stumbled into an open house that Tyron was showing and immediately hit it off. We exchanged email addresses and Tyron sent us listings. Tyron's listings seemed more informative and a bit more targeted to the areas we were interested in, so we met with him at the Pacific Heights zephyr office. In our meeting with him, he used some sort of realtor surgical strike Jedi powers to quickly narrow down the types of houses and neighborhoods we were interested in. He definitely showed more enthusiasm in helping us find a place than our previous agent did and the next thing I knew, he drove me around to 10 different properties over the lunch hour to show us what was available. He listened intently to what we liked and didn't like, and as the weeks wore on, the properties he showed us got more and more exciting. One of the nice things we liked about Tyron was that if he knew a property wasn't exactly right, he would give a little caveat about why he wanted to show it to us. It turns out that this was all part of his surgical strike process. All our questions, discussions and emails helped him narrow down the properties until. .. BAM! ... one day, Tyron sends us a listing that appeared moments before he sent it to us. Nobody had been able to see the house yet. He thought we should see it as soon as possible. No caveats, the thing that people tell you about falling in love with a house as soon as you step into it? It's true. We had seen so many houses before, but this one ... this one is perfect. I firmly believe that since Tyron was able to get us in to see it before anyone else, this is the reason why we live in the house today. Also, for what it's worth, the house was being sold as a short sale. i was nervous about that because I had read so many night-mares about short sales, but we had the good luck to be able to piggyback on a previous offer that had fallen through and this sale needed to close quickly. Thankfully, we had a rad mortgage broker and our credit pre-approved, so even though we were casually looking, we were ready to pull the trigger. Tyron's fast response, professionalism, attention to detail and his unending patience for all our first-time-buyers questions made the process go unbelievably smoothly. Even now, as we live in our new home, we still have questions here and there and Tyron is still available to answer. One of our favorite things about working with Tyron is that he is super responsive and he works with whatever mode of communication you're most comfortable with. For Michael and I, it's email. Even as frequently online as the two of us are, we were consistently amazed and impressed with how quickly Tyron would respond to our emails. If you're looking to buy a home, we couldn't recommend Tyron more! You may have heard me mention this earlier, but Tyron is a rock star!!

Tyron helped me purchase my first condo and I cannot be more satisfied. Not only was this my first time buying a house, it is also my first time living in San Francisco. Tyron was there the entire step of the way acting as my cheerleader and support system. I was extremely impressed with Tyron's knowledge of the housing market in San Francisco. As a single woman, safety was my number one concern and Tyron knew which areas we should target/avoid. He also has in-depth knowledge of the different unique characteristics in each of the different neighborhoods. Tyron is extremely organized, very personable and has strong negotiation skills. The entire transaction was executed very smoothly. Tyron is very professional and always had my best interest in mind. He never once pressured me or tried to "up sell "me. Tyron went above and beyond the "normal duties" of a real estate agent. He was extremely flexible with my schedule. I did not want to spend my weekends looking at houses and Tyron was very accommodating by showing me places either first thing in the morning, right after work or even during my lunch break. He was always willing to pick me up from work which made it even more convenient. However, what I think really impressed me the most, was that even after my condo closed, Tyron stuck around and helped me get everything settled into my new house. I had some painting done and a sink replaced and Tyron came over and supervised the work which allowed me to not have to take time off from work. This was certainly not something that I expected him to do but was greatly appreciated. Tyron helped me find the perfect house for me and believe it or not we even came in under my initial budget! I would definitely recommend Tyron and will use him again!

As a first-time homebuyer, I was unsure of the whole process. Tyron went above and beyond to educate me and make sure I was taken care of. He is ambitious, honest and hard-working. I will definitely use him again on my next home purchase!

Tyron managed to sell our condo in just 6 days, brought in a cash offer with a 21-day close and got an excellent back-up offer as well. His help in setting the asking price, backed up with extensive research and comps, and then managing the entire sale process with us on the other side of the continent was extraordinary. Patience is surely a virtue in dealing with the range of complicated forms, and Tyron remained in charge and unflustered throughout. He really understands modern marketing methods and the San Francisco market, and is super professional. His marketing campaign was well-planned, active and creative to promote the place and bring a stream of potential buyers. We are so glad we found him for our agent!

Chris and Karen

Tyron is a consummate real estate professional. Swift and thorough in getting our place on the market in 1 week and secured an all cash offer in one week in very tough market.

It was right when the housing market started to turn sour, but he kept us informed and aware of everything along the way. We knew we were in great hands, and everything turned out exactly how we wanted.
